ElecKey is the complete solution for secure electronic software distribution. It includes the software protection capability that allows you to protect your software applications against piracy, illegal use, or being copied.
* ElecKey can operate and lock application programs (.COM, .EXE, .DLL, .OCX) based on DOS, Windows 3.x/9x/NT/2000/XP.
* ElecKey allows you turn your application program to be protected within a few minutes, just point and click. There is no need to modify any single line of source code.
* The locking system protects your application against software piracy. This means you can safely distribute and sell your software by any distribution channels such as the Internet, online-services, floppy disks, CD-ROM, or any other digital medium.
* You have total control over the distributed applications. You can define characteristics of the protected application on the License Key that is sent to the end-user.
* The Key embedded in a harddisk functions to unlock the protected application. Only the end-user who is granted a license Key can activate the Key and run the application. The harddisk Key is designed with a sophisticated technique that can protect itself from copying and duplication by Windows/DOS copy commands or any other pirate utilities.
* You can increase security measures by enabling the Key to apply BIOS and Ethernet LAN card signatures. This allows the protected application to operate only on a particular PC.
* You can define characteristics of the protected application in different levels using user ID, program ID, and module ID. Limits include number of executions, date count, and an expired date. This allows you to create different types of software distribution and marketing options.
* ElecKey implements an algorithm that prevents single step program tracing, as well as encrypts parts of the program to prevent disassembly and debugging.
